Nihan is a teaching assistant in Design Thinking at the University of St.Gallen at the faculty of Information Management where she also works as a Design Thinking Coach for corporate partners. As a trained industrial and strategic designer Nihan holds a M.Sc. degree in Strategic Product Design with highest distinction from the Technical University of Delft in the Netherlands. Above that she has a high affinity for technical innovation, human factors and managerial relations. She studied industrial design in Kiel at the Muthesius Academy of Arts and Design and in Istanbul at the Mimar Sinan University of Fine Arts. During her bachelor she obtained a deep understanding in business, design and engineering through her internships at the design consultant agency npk design in Leiden, her repeated participation in the worldwide student design competition – Formula SAE for the teams of TU Delft and UAS Kiel and through her graduation at Service Innovation Labs in Berlin. With her intellectual curiosity, multicultural and interdisciplinary work experience she is able to empower and contribute enriching perspectives and impulses to projects. Moreover, Nihan is a foodie and a music nerd and she loves to relax during swimming.
